Keith has pursued his love of the stage and concert performance in many Philadelphia-local professional venues including Bristol Riverside Theatre, Act II Playhouse, The Prince Music Theatre, Hedgerow Theatre, and The Broadway Theatre of Pitman. His national tour highlights include the Broadway Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Music of the Night with Betty Buckley and Melissa Manchester. Favorite roles performed throughout his career include Coalhouse Walker, Jr. (Ragtime); Joe (Show Boat); The Abolitionist (For the Glory: The Civil War Musical); Leading Player (Pippin); Sky Masterson (Guys and Dolls); Billy (Carousel) and Audrey II (The Little Shop of Horrors). Outside the theatrical stage, Mr. Spencer has had the honor of singing concert stage backing vocals for artists such as Roberta Flack, Rosemary Clooney, and Sandi Patty. He most recently appeared opposite Billboard Top 100 artist, Doreen Taylor, in An Enchanted Evening – A Night with Oscar Hammerstein II which debuted in Philadelphia to critically-rave reviews.

Keith’s other credits include the award of semi-finalist in the esteemed American Traditions Competition hosted in Savannah, Georgia and featured soloist with Walt Disney World’s premier a cappella ensemble, Voices of Liberty, in Orlando, Florida.

For several seasons now, Keith has enjoyed being part of Bristol Riverside Theatre’s Summer Concert Musicale Series of shows including one-man show performances in the smash hit Nat “King” Cole tribute, For Sentimental Reasons, the big band Cole Porter revue, Too Darn Hot!, and most recently, Ol’ Man River: A Tribute to the African-American Leading Men of Broadway.

Elsewhere in the Philadelphia-area, Keith has been a concert guest artist for organizations such as the Quakertown Concert Band, Capital Singers of Trenton, Abington Choral Club and the Choral Arts Guild. He is a highly-acclaimed cabaret concert artist and also appears regularly in various ensembles with the entertainment agency, Jump City Music (, including the group that has been dubbed “Philly’s Hottest Big Band,” the Jump City Jazz Orchestra. 

Recently, Keith launched Brothers on Broadway, a blend of concert and musical theatre works saluting the journey of African-American stage performers from minstrel days to present times. He is currently workshopping an extension of his gospel and American spirituals programming in The Robeson Songbook: A Negro Spiritual and Gospel Celebration of the Music of Paul Robeson. Keith is a proud resident of Dresher, Pennsylvania. When not performing or working his day-job in technology, he most enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, daughter, Penelope and twins, Zachary and Vivian.
